What Is Full Landscape Projects?
A full landscape project is end-to-end delivery: one team takes your property from its current state through to a finished, functional outdoor space without you having to coordinate a single trade. That means design, site clearance, earthworks, drainage, retaining structures, hardscaping (paving, concreting, decks), softscaping (turf, garden beds, mass planting), automated irrigation, landscape lighting, fencing, screening and all final finishes — designed, managed and built by the same team.
The alternative — sourcing and managing multiple landscape trades yourself — sounds manageable until you're in the middle of it. The concretor can't start until earthworks are done, the turf can't go down until irrigation is in, and when something doesn't line up between trades, every one of them points to someone else. You absorb the time, the cost of rework, and the outcome that looks like a collection of disconnected decisions rather than a cohesive space.
Full landscape project delivery is most common in three scenarios: new home settlements where the block is bare and the owners want the whole outdoor space created at once; complete backyard transformations where an existing home needs everything pulled out and rebuilt properly; and large acreage projects where the scope requires a coordinated team with the equipment and experience to manage it.
Queensland-specific considerations matter enormously in project delivery. Timing construction around the wet season — particularly earthworks and concrete pours — affects project scheduling. Tropical plant establishment is faster in SE QLD's warm climate but requires careful irrigation management in the first growing season. Drainage-first thinking is essential: the wet season will test every drainage decision made during construction, and fixing drainage after the fact is expensive.
We've delivered full landscape projects from $25,000 focused front yard builds through to complex $250,000+ acreage transformations. Whether you have a detailed brief or just a vague sense that you want a better outdoor space, a free onsite inspection is where we start.
Project Types We Handle
Most full landscape projects across SE QLD fall between $30,000 and $250,000. Larger acreage projects can run higher. We'll give you accurate budget bands at the inspection.
